Educational Fair

The college was invited to open up a stall to promote our course in an educational fair held in Time Square Penang last Saturday & Sunday..
Disted, AIMST, IMC, Adventist Nursing College to name a few, were there as well..
I went there with Tin Tin, my coursemate; Ms Koay, the admin officer & Ms Ang, the principal..


A little awkward, but the day went smoothly..
We're supposed to be in clinical posting, instead we're in a shopping complex in our uniforms..

Anyway, we reached there at 3 and went back at 7..
Total of 4 hours only..Haha!

We did managed to promote our college to those who came to the fair..

Trips in a week

Back before my exam, the college arranged 3 educational trips in-relation with the subjects we're studying.

First 2 trips were in relation with Communicable Disease.
We went to Botanical Garden to learn ways to prevent breeding of vector, mainly mosquitoes.
Didn't took much pics as my cam's battery was dead!

On another day of the same week, we took turns to go to the Vector Borne Disease Control Lab in Perak Road Health Clinic..
Looked into the blood films for Malaria Parasites and also Mircofilarias..
Took some pics of the films through the microscope..

At the end of the week, we visited Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital near Tanjung Bunga..
Although the hospital is a charitable one, the furnishing is awesome..
Learnt ways of cancer diagnosis and treatment..
